Antonio Aguilar was a Mexican singer, actor, songwriter, and film producer who was born in Villanueva, Zacatecas, on May 17, 1919. He was known as "El Charro de Mexico" and was a prominent figure in Mexican folk and ranchera music. He recorded over 150 albums throughout his career and acted in more than 160 films.
